John Terry capped off a stellar Chelsea career by participating in a 5-1 thrashing of the relegated Sunderland. The Black Cats looked to put a damper to the proceedings with a shock goal from Javier Manquillo. Last year’s Club Player of the Year, Willian, would save the day with an equalizer just minutes after the opening goal. Eden Hazard would score in the second half after a blistering run from the left. Substitute Pedro would take advantage of Sunderland’s calamitous defending and score after punishing the miscue from Joleon Lescott. Michy Batshuayi would continue his scoring run after being released by Pedro. Batshuayi would feature once again late into stoppage time with an impressive individual goal to cap off his season.

Chelsea’s John Terry is emotional as he celebrates scoring their first goal with team mates.

The newly-crowned champions were given a stern warning about their complecency, as they were brought to the limit by a plucky Watford side, 4-3. Captain John Terry opened up the scoring after pouncing on the loose ball. Etienne Capoue would draw the sides level after taking advantage of a Terry miscue. Cesar Azpilicueta would retake the advantage with a shot from the edge of the box. Michy Batshuayi would score a sitter after a good passing sequence for the Blues. Daryl Janmaat would pull one back with an excellent individual run from the left side. Stefano Okaka would draw the sides level after taking advantage of some defensive miscues. Cesc Fabregas would score the final goal of the match with a volley from the edge of the box.

Chelsea tooks another important step towards regaining the Premier League title with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park. Pedro opened up the scoring after over an hour of futility with a brilliant individual effort from distance. Gary Cahill doubled the advantage from a botched free kick save by Maarten Stekelenburg. Willian would seal the victory with a well-taken goal from a short distance.

Chelsea are in the FA Cup finals after outlasting Tottenham Hotspurs, 4-2 in a London derby semifinal. Willian turned back the clock and opened up the scoring with a signature free kick from the left. Harry Kane would equalize for the Spurs with a header right before halftime. WIllian would double the advantage by converting a penalty on a foul on Victor Moses. But Dele Alli would bring the sides level once again through a Christian Eriksen assist. Substitute Eden Hazard would capitalize on a defensive miscue to give the Blues the advantage once again before Nemanja Matic would seal the deal with a long range attempt.

Chelsea took a massive stride towards a runaway Premier League title win with a hard fought victory over Stoke City at the Bet365. 2-1. In what was mostly a heated cagey affair, the match was decided on set pieces. Willian gave the league leaders the early lead with a well-taken free kick which managed to sneak its way past Lee Grant. Stoke would equalize later in the first half with a Jonathan Walters penalty after he was brought down by Gary Cahill in the box. Gary Cahill would score the winning goal through a late corner.
