Chelsea’s John Terry is emotional as he celebrates scoring their first goal with team mates.

The newly-crowned champions were given a stern warning about their complecency, as they were brought to the limit by a plucky Watford side, 4-3. Captain John Terry opened up the scoring after pouncing on the loose ball. Etienne Capoue would draw the sides level after taking advantage of a Terry miscue. Cesar Azpilicueta would retake the advantage with a shot from the edge of the box. Michy Batshuayi would score a sitter after a good passing sequence for the Blues. Daryl Janmaat would pull one back with an excellent individual run from the left side. Stefano Okaka would draw the sides level after taking advantage of some defensive miscues. Cesc Fabregas would score the final goal of the match with a volley from the edge of the box.

Blues Hammered Out of EFL Cup

Chelsea bowed out of the EFL Cup after succumbing to a disappointing 2-1 loss against London rivals West Ham United. A header from Cheikhou Kouyate put the Hammers ahead early in the first half. Edimilson Fernandes would double the host’s advantage early in the second half. Gary Cahill would pull one goal back for the Blues late into stoppage time but it proved to be too little to late.

EPL: Chelsea 3 – 0 Leicester City

Chelsea Clobber Champs

Chelsea’s new-look formation continue to bring in the results as they take down the defending champions, Leicester City, in dominating fashion, 3-0. The Blues struck early again through Diego Costa with Eden Hazard scoring another goal right before halftime. Victor Moses would put the final nail in the coffin with a goal born out of a combination play late in the match.
